Scott graduated from Shorecrest High School. This was in Seattle at that time, but is now in the city of Shoreline.

Scott told me that one of his teachers convinced the school to ‘graduate’ him a few months early, stating that it was a wast of his time and theirs to have him stay until the end. He said they strongly advised him not to go to college or join the military.
