This is from a hand-written letter from Aleck to the Washington State Department of Labor and Industry explaining why InfoX hadn’t made the payments for the past few years.
Per our telecom today I am providing the following employee information:
2nd QTR 1994 1320 HRS
3rd QTR 1994 180 HRS
Effective 9-30-94 company operations are suspended and there are no employees.
Since October 1995 Scott Lafferty has been overseas in So. Africa, Russia, Australia, and England and all local business communications have been in limbo. Scott is the sole owner of Info Express. In his absence I have been periodically attending to his mail. I may be negligent in attending to response to your department’s mail. But I thought that all Washington State taxes etc. were attended to and the accounts closed.
Please assess the required premiums and penalties from the above information and withhold it from the withheld bank funds.
