On 18 August 2009 Scott (through Info Express Ltd) bought The Chieftain, a 38′ certified small commercial vessel. This was a Venom 38 that he purchased from Richard Tibbs for £80k (plus £12k VAT).
He used this boat for pleasure fishing and shallow-water survey work, close to shore and in rivers and canals in the UK and Europe.
