Ship of Gold pays off for some

Seattle group helped find 15 tons of gold lost on sunken ship. It took 30 years to get their shares.

When we contracted to provide Scott’s advanced side-scan sonar gear, and Scott to help locate the SS Central America, we ere promised a small percentage of anything that was recovered…assuming something was.

But after the ship was located and a substantial portion of the gold recovered, it seemed like half the lawyers in the world filed suits to grab some of the loot.

Years later, about a year after Scott died, some of the contractors were finally paid off.
