First customer for my sonar mapping system was a treasure hunter looking for the SS Central America which sunk off of Carolina USA, in 1857. The system worked first time. After 44 day of continuous at sea operations, the ship was found, resulting in one of the richest sub-sea treasure ever recovered to date. See newspaper and magazine articles.
